Joe Frady is a thoroughly decent chap!

    Couldn’t agree more wholeheartedly.

    Morrissey A-Z: "Disappointed"

One of my all-time favorite songs. Great music, fun lyrics. Love it so much.

    Morrissey A-Z: "Blue Dreamers Eyes"

I really like it. I concur that it needs a proper release. It’s definitely my favorite of these unreleased songs. And the video is wonderful, especially the behind-the-scenrehearsal footage!

Morrissey A-Z: "Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way?"

I really enjoy this song! Quite an unexpected cover. I was in the audience in Visalia when he sang it. There was a strange vibe in that no one in the audience (including me) seemed to recognize the song.

    Band T-shirts

I have no idea about all of them, but the slogan t-shirts seemed to have had their heyday around 2011-2014, so definitely check out the tour archives from that time. This was a strange one that just said “Dirt,” in Beaumont, Texas in May 2014. Photo by my wife.

Morrissey Central MORRISSEY SPEAKS, NEW YEAR'S EVE 2020

I have no idea what platform he used to make this video, but I was reminded of this postcard he sent Linder years back that she displayed in an exhibit. ☺️

    Strange/unexpected Moz references?

I was gonna say it looks like he’s getting ready to throw his partner into a wood-chipper!

    Worst Morrissey song

“Shame is the Name” is one of my least fave songs from anyone! “The Kid’s a Looker” is also abysmal.

Morrissey Central There Are More Questions Than Answers (October 14, 2020)

I would bet that Moz has seen Key Witness, which Johnny Nash starred in. Seems his style.

John Lydon voting for Trump "Joe Biden is in all practicality senile..."

Agree with you on both! My wife and I will be early voting here in Texas for Biden and I hope it’s a Biden blow out.

Morrissey Central "SOON / 2020 new releases" (September 6, 2020)

I loved the 2009 reissue of Southpaw Grammar. The El Paso photos, the “Southpaw grammar diaries” liner notes, and adding in “Nobody Loves Us” were all so very nicely done. It’s a shame that iteration is not being put out on vinyl. Oh well.

Angie is a really kind person, and has a good heart.

Morrissey Central "I DON’T KNOW WHY MY MOTHER IS DEAD" (August 23, 2020)

It’s awful to read this. What a sad turn of events for him. 💔 It’s so understandable to want to assign blame for such a quick death; to make some sense of the chaos. My father-in-law passed away from esophageal cancer many years ago. He died about three months after being diagnosed. He had been...

Matt Walker (of1000faces) new album: "Astronomica" (releases September 25, 2020)

Not really my thing. Sounds like the intro to a science educational film. Though maybe that was his intent.

Morrissey Central "BORN SORRY" (August 19, 2020)

I’ve been American all my life and I have never heard this expression.(And I’m a Texan and we have some of the craziest ones.) The closest I can think of is “journey to the great beyond” and even that is really archaic.

Morrissey Central "AND STILL THEY ARRIVE … AND ARRIVE … AND ARRIVE" (August 18, 2020)

We saw that on the flower menu and I was sure someone would get that one. :) We went with the “August Bouquet”!🌻

Morrissey Central "TRINI LOPEZ DIES … AS WE ALL MUST" (August 18, 2020)

No, he sold that restaurant space off in the late 70s/early 80s to a developer and there’s now a block of shops on the site.
