Re: Arriving soon: Suede complete singles, B-sides & rarities Maybe out of subject, but I've just found this GREAT example of what Suede did live in 2010 : http://gothic-addiction.blogspot.com/2010/12/bootleg-suede-live-at-steve-lamacq-show.html Perfect sound quality. I've not listened to all...

Thank you for the not so bad audience recordings ! They show very well how Brett still sounds very good.

I can't judge anything based on this poor audio quality.

    Suede's live return

Yesterday's show in Paris was short but really great. I've been really impressed by Brett's voice and the group overall performance. Best Suede show I've seen/heard.

    Suede's live return

I don't know the size of the venues Suede is touring in England...big ? small ? So I don't get what you'rre complaining about... In France, they'll perform in a very very small place, and that makes me a happy man.

    Suede's live return

I've seen Suede live twice, once with Butler. There are a few good bootlegs I still listen to. Brett solo albums are nice, his live shows are amazing. I can't see how this new Suede tour could go wrong.

Suede to release comprehensive “Best of” compilation

My opinion : Sci Fi Lullabies is the best Suede "album" (B sides collection) Then the "Performance" bootleg. Brett solo work is just beautiful (but I'm not fond of Butler solo career). Slow Attack is a great accoustic LP, and the way he played those songs with a full electric band on his...

Midnight Oil rocks Exxon building as Valdez protest 20 years ago this weekend

Midnight Oil were quite famous in France during the late 80's. "Beds are Burning" was a major hit. I just love Red Sails in the Sunset, and I have a bootleg from this period that is so good it almost sounds like a studio performance. Only it's clearly not :) I was quite shocked and pleased...

Suede to reform for one night only

Well to be honest, I really love "the asphalt world", and in this version, I really really miss the guitar solo that should be at the exact moment "so young" starts...

Suede to reform for one night only

Thank you for the DL link. I would LOVE to find a soundboard recording...please link here if someone find one ! For your information, the last Brett solo tour did not include any Suede material, but was quite electric. Brett and his band delivered wonderful and powerful versions of his two...
