In the song We dance to yesterday.
I'm a big fan of Hawksley, but this song is not my cup of tea.

Funny video for the studio version (Hawks is the roadie) ...
Re: Arriving soon: Suede complete singles, B-sides & rarities
Maybe out of subject, but I've just found this GREAT example of what Suede did live in 2010 :

Perfect sound quality. I've not listened to all...
Yesterday's show in Paris was short but really great.
I've been really impressed by Brett's voice and the group overall performance.
Best Suede show I've seen/heard.
I don't know the size of the venues Suede is touring in England...big ? small ? So I don't get what you'rre complaining about...
In France, they'll perform in a very very small place, and that makes me a happy man.
I've seen Suede live twice, once with Butler.
There are a few good bootlegs I still listen to.
Brett solo albums are nice, his live shows are amazing.
I can't see how this new Suede tour could go wrong.
My opinion :
Sci Fi Lullabies is the best Suede "album" (B sides collection)
Then the "Performance" bootleg.
Brett solo work is just beautiful (but I'm not fond of Butler solo career). Slow Attack is a great accoustic LP, and the way he played those songs with a full electric band on his...
But...Bad is from The Unforgetable Fire album, that came after War which had Sunday Bloody Sunday and New Years Day, right ? How can this performance be a turning point in their career ?
Midnight Oil were quite famous in France during the late 80's. "Beds are Burning" was a major hit.
I just love Red Sails in the Sunset, and I have a bootleg from this period that is so good it almost sounds like a studio performance. Only it's clearly not :)
I was quite shocked and pleased...
Well to be honest, I really love "the asphalt world", and in this version, I really really miss the guitar solo that should be at the exact moment "so young" starts...
Thank you for the DL link.
I would LOVE to find a soundboard recording...please link here if someone find one !
For your information, the last Brett solo tour did not include any Suede material, but was quite electric. Brett and his band delivered wonderful and powerful versions of his two...
