His actual voice is completely different. He sounds like a west coast actor who would've been on the Rockford files or something. When he affects Morrissey's voice it's not bad, though.
But looks-wise, he's got it down! The hair, physicality, everyting. Even his hands are the same. Looks like he's having fun and not taking himself too seriously either. Nice one.

im sure this guy was called david grindley or something close - i always thought this too when i saw him on the tv , i think he is from some part of manchester too. barcelona 92 rings a bell.

That photo puts strange thoughts into my head, such as, did they specificially look for Moz-lookalikes... Kind of like they make people in porn movies dress as monks and nuns, or doctors and nurses, or policemen, or Dracula... Imagine the ads: 'a well endowed male wanted for an adult entertainment picture. Must resemble Morrissey'

Heres a clue... its not Morrissey. And at the time it was beautiful to see a Morrissey lookalike clutch a Union Jack without a 10 page spread in the NME....

The only similarity I see is that he's wearing a quiff.
Yep, that's David Grindley. He was Britain's best 400m runner for a couple of years, getting close to the UK record, until injury cruelly ended his career. He was from Wigan, and I always thought he was the absolute spitting image of Morrissey.

He is now a pilot!!! At the time it made me laugh that someone who looked so much like Moz paraded around in the Union Jack!!! As did Linford Christie, Kriss Akabusi and John Regis
