Just a general "Happy Christmas message" to all the people I've befriended and argued with this last year. Librarian on Fire, Grim, Ruffian, Laura, Fabricio, Loafing Oaf (still disagree re: American music), Punchdrunk (hope you're enjoying your travels) etc. etc. 2001 has been a strange year, both internationally (WTO, Afghanistan etc., the death of Sir Peter Blake) and also a strange year for me personally. Half my family died this year, a few friends and friends of friends died too, but then, I got married at the end of the year, so there was *some* hope.

Best wishes to you all, and hope 2002 brings peace and hope to you all.

(PS - listend to the Phil Spector Christmas album at full-volume ast night ... it rocked!)
