ABOUT THIS LAS VEGAS SHOW
Morrissey announces his most unlikely run of dates ever, a not-to-be-missed, sure-to-be-life-changing residency "Viva Moz Vegas" at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip this summer.

The following performances go on sale Friday, Feb. 28 at 10am PT at Ticketmaster.com/MorrisseyVegas:
  • Friday, June 26
  • Saturday, June 27
  • Wednesday, July 1
  • Friday, July 3
  • Saturday, July 4
Morrissey, once voted the second-greatest living British cultural icon (behind David Attenborough and before Paul McCartney), takes on this residency as his second theatrical outing of its kind following a hallmark sold-out Broadway residency at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater in New York City, which earned unanimous praise from press. The Vegas residency, his latest stateside shows after a string of acclaimed tour dates with alt-rock icons Interpol last fall, comes on the heels of the announcement of Morrissey’s 13th solo album and third studio album for BMG, defiantly titled “I Am Not A Dog on a Chain,” set to be released on March 20. The Vegas residency will serve as an intimate, invigorating dive into Morrissey’s expansive career from his early days to the new album. As an artist who is always trying new things, and never wanting to repeat himself, this could be fans' only change to experience the provocative combination of Morrissey in Las Vegas. These shows are not to be missed.

I’m hearing that this is being cancelled and official announcement is coming. Does anyone know if this is the case? Thanks

Yes. It’s all off.
no postponement. Off.
to be expected, even when announced.

I reckon Caesars Palace has been closed down until at least April 30. I reckon they will reevaluate after April 30. I reckon if there is any danger to the California Son's fellow Americans, he will cancel. He won't play and risk the spread of the Chinese Virus, like he did to those Brittish people to get their money. I reckon this is a pissy cock tossey, because his wife Nancy has been pulling every string she has for the past 20 years to make this happen arse northern base c*** tit twat chipper curry in n n nn n nn nn n it.

Does anyone have any updates on if these shows are going to be postponed or cancelled? I heard the Mayor of Las Vegas wants to open the casinos by June. Surely there would be restrictions on crowds, meaning no shows.

"All ticketed live entertainment held in Caesars Entertainment venues in Las Vegas are suspending performances through at least May 14, 2020." was the last official communication.
I'd check there regularly or with ticket outlets.
The 'official' Morrissey portals have not been forthcoming with quick, solid information, so checking the venue directly is probably the best bet.

From a practical standpoint, the US borders are closed to visitors, which means even if the shows are on, Morrissey and Boz can't get in unless the order is reversed.
UK Government guidance on travel to the US

Since 16 March, it is not possible for many British nationals to enter the USA if they have been in the UK, Ireland, Schengen zone, Iran or China within the previous 14 days.

US citizens and permanent residents of the USA, certain specified close family members and certain other limited categories of visas holders (such as UN staff and diplomats) are exempt. They will still be able to enter the USA, subject to normal entry requirements.

Those allowed entry to the USA must be prepared to self-isolate for up to 14 days after arrival.

Residency dates now postponed.
Please see here:

For details.
Regards,
FWD.
