Ian Holm in The sweet hereafter

Quiet a long story, but when the first time I had chosen an avatar for a forum, it was a movies one

The first time I saw The sweet hereafter, I had many difficulties to focus because Ian Holm totally turned me on ...

In this movie he plays a lawyer, just as myself

So it became for some reason obvious that I would pick his pic in this movie for an avatar

Since then, I use the same avatar on all forums

Well, I like it.
I haven't seen the movie, but reading the movie's description on imdb.com, it sounds well worth watching.
I'll look it up.
Funny thing, it says on there that the tagline for the movie was: "There is no such thing as the simple truth". Sounds familiar, but I can't quite point my finger at it :)

i don't want them IN my house, but if they are willing to mail me cash, i'll take that.

they might be offended by your remark :)
I've learned a long time ago that sadly nothing good ever comes through the mail.

You should be more careful.
I just hope the CIA and FBI won't reveal that the 9/11 hijackers were actually Morrissey fans. I doubt Morrissey was questioned for no substantial reason as he had claimed.

Of course we know! I just wanted to be a little more specific. Not rigging whatever that means.

Ireland is a glaring omission from your list.

Stop rigging the poll.
I hope most Americans know the US of A is in the North American continent, though I can't be too sure.
Though I think most American fans haven't woken up yet so the results can shift dramatically.

I'm from Rusholme, Manchester.

yeah, yeah, I know you Irish take it personally. when will you relinquish your nationality and identity already?
just kidding. it was meant to be UK and Ireland. can one edit a poll?
otherwise choose other to protest.

Oh and one more thing, don't rake up my mistakes, I know exactly what they are. :)

to rig a poll is to influence polling results in unlawful ways.
that's basically how Morrissey was voted greatest frontman ever to come out of Manchester, etc.

UK and Ireland? I think you'd best just leave things as they are in that case. I'd prefer the EU to that.

London from the past 10 yrs...Italy before then

"Ireland for the English, Ireland for the English"
hehe

look, there's a limit of 15 options, I had to generalize.
perhaps one day Ireland will conquer the UK and not the other way round.

Born in Stockton On Tees, it's birthplace of the railways you know!

I see the shapes,
I remember from maps.
I see the shoreline.
I see the whitecaps.
A baseball diamond, nice weather down there.
I see the school and the houses where the kids are.
Places to park by the factries and buildings.
Restaunts and bar for later in the evening.
Then we come to the farmlands, and the undeveloped areas.
And I have learned how these things work together.
I see the parkway that passes through them all.
And I have learned how to look at these things and I say,

I wouldnt live there if you paid me.
I couldnt live like that, no siree!
I couldnt do the things the way those people do.
I couldnt live there if you paid me to.

I guess its healthy, I guess the air is clean.
I guess those people have fun with their neighbors and friends.
Look at that kitchen and all of that food.
Look at them eat it guess it tastes real good.

They grow it in the farmlands
And they take it to the stores
They put it in the car trunk
And they bring it back home
And I say ...

I say, I wouldnt live there if you paid me.
I couldnt live like that, no siree!
I couldnt do the things the way those people do.
I wouldnt live there if you paid me to.

Im tired of looking out the windows of the airplane
Im tired of travelling, I want to be somewhere.
Its not even worth talking
About those people down there.
