    yes, it's pretty difficult being 16 and living in a country my dearest moz publicly protests. groan. And Johnny didn't visit for his North American tour, whats a north american tour if all the dates are in the u.s?? Have you seen him live?

    Hi mate, I'll try and answer all your questions for you!
    You could easily see all the main sights in one day, recommend the tourist information centre at the far end of the High Street for information on the town plus a kind of museum too. They will tell you other things to see too but try and visit the horse statue at the other end of the High Street (more info here>>http://www.hawickcommonriding.com/1514.html<<) and maybe one of the knitwear shops too (Hawick Cashmere is where my Dad works so I would suggest that one!)
    There is plenty parking in the town which is free. Not too many at the Town Hall but there is a big one at a place called the Common Haugh, 5 minutes walk from the venue and free all day. Look for this on Google Maps and you should see how close it is.
    Hope that has been a help to you and hope you enjoy the gig. It is a great venue for live music, just a shame it has taken so long for big names to realise this!
