Morrissey Central "YOU MUST PLEASE REMEMBER" (October 15, 2021)

Bought for £1.99 at Holloway Road ‘Our Price’ in 1995. Transitional times. ‘Mister Byrite had presence. Now found on my stack of cd’s - still loved and never ever for sale.

This is what happens when certain individuals attempt to be “edgy”, only to reveal who they truly are, @Verso. So very pitiful, so totally them all over. And if it’s Morrissey sporting lipstick, so what?

Morrissey Central “SAY IT LOUD, I’M ME AND I’M PROUD.” (September 29, 2021)

‘Bengali’? Unlikely. Never played live, as far as I know. He probably would play it to appear “edgy”. But who’s to say he wouldn’t dare now, even he would see it as a step too far. Looking back now, if he’d have kept his nerve - as well as the personnel and producer, he’d have surpassed...

Morrissey Central “SAY IT LOUD, I’M ME AND I’M PROUD.” (September 29, 2021)

Best Smiths album: ‘Strangeways….’ (Captures the band in a state of transition, giving a tantalising glimpse of “What if?” had Johnny not jumped ship after doing a Cilla Black cover). Best Smiths compilation: ‘The World Won’t Listen’ (I’ll admit to my bias, as I bought it as a 19th Birthday...

    Morrissey's friend forging new alliances

Oh, yes. And didn’t he describe her as “a humane Thatcher” too? Who says this?

    Morrissey's friend forging new alliances

As of now, the launch of the new album may limited to becoming no more than a pipe dream stretching into the future. What record label will want to touch him now without the inevitable blowback that will ensue? Take yer pick there. Any promotional interviews won’t be about the music...

Morrissey Central "EUROVISION ACCIDENTALLY BUMPS INTO HIGH ART: VIVA UKRAINE !" (May 25, 2021)

And this, I feel, is the best UK entry never to win Eurovision. It finished 2nd behind France in 1977. Years later, Lyndsey De Paul wrote a book on self-defence for women....

GQ: "A$AP Rocky Is the Prettiest Man Alive" - Morrissey reportedly features on new A$AP Rocky album (May 19, 2021)

I really do hate to tell you this, Uncleskinny, but he has a following in the UK. How interesting that over the last couple of years, Morrissey’s been reaching out to those he was known to have dismissed previously. ‘Papa Jack’ keeps coming to mind, as I read this.
