    RIP Whitney Houston

Similar situation with Michael Jackson's untimely death, people don't associate with star's solely on their merit alone, they associated with the because the attracted to the image, the aura, the persona, rather than the person. Hence the term "icon". Whitney Houston, while I admit to not having...

    RIP Whitney Houston

Not a fan. Very casual listener who heard a good amount of her singles, (it's kind of impossible not to) and I do have my stubborn favorites, but they are the typical ones. If I didn't like her music before, why would I bother with it after her death?

    RIP Whitney Houston

Marc Almond as a lyricist was underrated and overlooked really, Soft Cell as a whole were truly innovative-- listen to "Memorabilia" if you don't believe me. Haven't gotten around to...

    Young the giant

:lbf: Young the Giant are certainly not legendary. Not abominable either, they're middle-of-the-road, and I hate that.

Boz Boorer's god-awful English rap side project, Happy Martyr LOL!

Not good at all. The Beastie Boys cover is not bad though.

What other bands do you listen to?

I drifted from having Morrissey on heavy rotation for months now. I am currently in my nerd music phase I am listening to the likes of Gary Numan (Telekon):guitar:, Ennio Morricone, The Magnetic Fields, Future Bible Heroes and Young Marble Giants. I am also on an early 80's kick right now...
