I'm selling off a few records and cds. Check them out at: http://www.ebay.com/sch/arsnlrob/m.html?item=300649041725&sspagename=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649&_trksid=p4340.l2562
Thanks!
The box set was 222 when I put it in my basket, but charged out at 185 probably due to the VAT taken off. In the US I've never been charged customs on imports.
After placing orders through Rhino and recordstore.co.uk, I may have gotten this for a bargain (so to speak) from amazon.co.uk. I'm in the US, and here are the details:
Subtotal of Items: £185.83
Postage & Packing: £3.08
------
Total before VAT: £188.91
VAT: £0.00...
I have a copy of this tape as well, which I bought from Stephane a few years ago. Can't copy it b/c I don't have a tape deck (nor a turntable but that hasn't stopped my purchasing )
It took me a while to track one down, but finally got one. Here's one that was for sale recently: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110467854320. Thanks X!
I did a eBay complaint last week and didn't hear anything. Thurs I did a Paypal resolution and the money was refunded within a day. The money was rolling in for Ms. Jones for a while but hopefully with the payouts "she'll" stay out of the counterfeiting game.
The CD was deleted after a week to allow for pressing of the 12" and to allow the single to remain eligible for the UK charts. Only 3 versions of a single are allowed to qualify and for whatever reason the CD was the one to go.
I have this. It's pretty good packaging and of course, sound since it comes from the radio broadcast. Most importantly it's a silver, pressed CD.
There is also another bootleg of this show on Cellar Dweller records but that is a silver-bottomed CD-R.
Inox, that's a tough one. The Japanese writing is correct, but not hard to find on the internet (just go to hmv.co.jp and the tracklisting in Japanese is right there). The English font looks authentic. However, the price is wrong on your promo (it was 2500 Yen, not 3500 yen). Not sure about...
Also, I highly doubt that the original 1997 Mercury promo for Maladjusted would have been as a CD-R. This was around the time that CD-R pressings were relatively rare and they all were in jewel cases with back inserts from the CD-R manufacturer. The CDs themselves didn't have silkscreened...
I am 100% convinced that this seller is NOT legit. He has sold in the last month:
3x Swords 2-cd promos (of which I bought 1)
2x I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris promos (and 1 available now)
4x Smiths 8-cd Japanese promos
1x Maladjusted japanese promo
These promos have never been seen for...
