I voted Meat Is Murder, as it is my favourite ever live rendition of the song - even better than when it was performed with Marr, Rourke and Joyce. A truly powerful piece of art and a real highlight of the gigs that I managed to see over here in the UK.
I love this song even as it is.
If it's not legit, then I am kind of happy, because if it was real then I would forever be wondering how amazing it could have been and how the hell did Morrissey decide not to do anything with it.
It's good shit though, haunting stuff. I like the...
It, along with Kill Uncle and Southpaw, is amongst my most played solo albums. It reigns supreme over any of his releases since then and, in my opinion, doesn't contain a single dud song. The reissue is even better, but I am a fan of Roy's Keen.
Maybe I've got it all wrong.
The live renditions of Kill Uncle's songs are magnificent and among my favourite Morrissey songs. Sing Your Life and King Leer in particular - the energy is fantastic.
The album has also managed to sneak its way into being one of my favourites too, particular just before going to bed at...
Re: @morrisseysmum
Whoever it is has got quite a few things correct in the past, so I won't dismiss it but I won't expect anything either. And of course it's not Morrissey's mum, for godsake.

I'll...
Well I prefer to be optimistic about it and happy now, rather than down about it before the production has even happened. I know that's not the way of most on here...
I think the live versions of these songs can only be made better by anyone half decent on the production side of things...
Only heard it once but...
I abso-bloody-lutely love it.
After scepticism from the 3 Janice Long songs, I am massively excited about the new album. This has got single potential too.
Oops, serve's me right for posting after having a few...

Best version I've found, dunno if others have found better?
“Humans - who enslave, castrate, experiment on, and fillet other animals - have had an understandable penchant for pretending animals do not feel pain. A sharp distinction between humans and ‘animals’ is essential if we are to bend them to our will, make them work for us, wear them, eat them -...
