Anyone here ever met the man?

Just wondered your impressions whether before the show, backstage, signings etc. Also if he has changed much towards his fans during the last few years as well. If I ever had the chance to meet him I'd love to plonk my 12" collection into his lap, see his reaction, and get him to sign every one of those covers...but well, sadly there aint much chance of that happening here. So hit me how you got on

Yes. In a Tenerife hotel, Sitting at the bar alone he was drinking beer of some description. No guards or anything. Noone seemed to care about him. It was fascinating. I was only 12 years old though- This was in about... 2002-ish.
