In response to Johnny Marr admitting to his drinking problems in the past, I don't think he was trying to throw a pity party for himself. I thought that was quite brave of him. As far as he and Morrissey working together again, that would be great considering Johnny Marr has such a knack for putting together such lush melodies (especially on the first Electronic album and The The's "Dusk"--my favorite The The album). Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Morrissey's solo work, especially "Your Arsenal". To be perfectly honest, I don't think Johnny Marr could've come up with some of the melodies for that album. Nonetheless, he's still a brilliant musician.
