Lack of consistency in topic/thread "moveage"

in General discussion and it got moved to Other Music.

There is a thread in General Discussion
http://forums.morrissey-solo.com/showthread.php?t=110587
"Angel Down We Go" covered by Courteeners
that has not been moved.
Both cover the general theme of a group or artist covering a Morrissey song.
Why has one been moved and not the other? Am I missing something?

There seems to be a lack of consistency in the moving of topics or I don't understand where to post topics. Or....

i left the courtneers thread in general because they opened for morrissey on tour.

Inappropriate merge:
The thread:
Morrissey At A Wedding was about Morrissey and wedding attendance in general, and quickly became about Russell Brand.
The now merged and non existant thread:
morrissey/ roseanne cash in-laws
was about the fact that there is now a familial relationship via marriage between Morrissey and Johnny Cash's family.
Both threads mentioned Morrissey's nephew's wedding, but the first thread only used it to illustrate a point, while the second thread is about the wedding and implications of the marriage itself.
Different topics, different threads.

On the events page, why has the ''Maladjusted night'' at Gullivers, Manchester, been merged with a thread about ''Viva Morrissey gigs''?

They are different social events - one is advertising a tribute band, the other advertising a Morrissey & Smiths night.

Can they please be placed seperately again?
