That famous Morrissey wit...
Have you seriously got nothing better to do than to go on a website dedicated to an artist you don't like & troll others who do? I don't like Taylor Swift but I've better things to do than to go on her fan page & annoy other people. Give your head a wobble. Get a life.

First time seeing him live and I wasn’t disappointed. It was an amazing evening and I can’t understand why so many people are criticising it on here.
Was it my perfect setlist? Probably not, but it was bloody good nonetheless! With a discog as vast as his, he’ll never please everyone, but let’s just enjoy seeing him live while we still have the ability to do so.

I think I saw a Latin American socialist in the background for I've Got Devil. I THINK it was Che. But we've established I don't remember the backgrounds. Could it have been Castro?
It was Che.

That’s a great set list. I much prefer to hear new songs and bsides etc than just the big overplayed hits (Suedehead etc).

I was wearing 3 badges, if any of you saw me wandering about with my gin. I made a few nervous lefties happy. I think they feared being seen at a Moz concert in 2020.

I always roll my eyes when he sings And Labour, but to be fair... we're all sick to death of it these days.

I was wearing my Corbyn badge. The idea the gigs are full of far right nutters is a complete falsehood.

Wembley Arena is brutalist?! How very dare you.

That venue is horrendous. It’s a brutalist monstrosity. But artists can rightly be criticised if they choose the wrong context for their productions. It’s hard to imagine a worse space for Morrissey’s set list last night.

I’ve seen 21 Pilots at the SSE, and they made it work for them.

Live concert ticket prices verge on extortion these days. If you have a poor experience, it’s hard to forget. Morrissey’s attitude has been ‘who’ll have me?’ I would suggest he needs to acknowledge the whole, and hand pick venues appropriate for the set list, or change the music.

I saw Frankie Valli 18 months ago: he was utterly electric. It’s impossible to overstate what a consummate artist he is to this day. And I think he was 85 when he played, at Cardiff.

When the Stone Roses played Leeds, a few years back, it was mesmerising.

Belle and Sebastian have evolved into a beautiful live band.

Peter Hook has a live warmth that defies his public image; fans get added value from his live sets.

I took my daughter to see Imagine Dragons, and it was wonderful to see her being pulled into their world.

I should be able to say all these things about Morrissey. As control freaks go, he’s f***ing losing it.

A beautiful ballad like Jack the Ripper doesn’t need dry ice to conjure up the idea of fog. For f***s sake.

You're the one who needs to get a grip. It's just Morrissey not taking this virus seriously and basically mocking it. It has nothing to do with other people wearing masks. The only way to stem the tide of this virus is to not gather in large crowds. If you can't see that you're pretty thick.

It's less that it's offensive and more of the fact that - Morrissey basically has the worst immune system. So it's silly for him to be mocking it when from 2009-2013 especially he was the poster boy for catching anything and everything.

...and indeed blaming other people when he did catch something, viz. Kristeen Young.

No, that's why it's good. He's laughing in the face of a disaster that could befall him. It's what medieval miracle plays & black comedies do.

If he would take advice & I could give him advice, I'd tell him that's what he is - a black comedy miracle play & he should forget any yearning to be normal or turn into Tom Jones. He's never going to be 'Hello Wembley, are you all having a great time', but he could up the chaos & let himself go with it.

He's laughing in the face of it - until he or someone close to him gets the virus, then he'll expect the highest sympathy. I wouldn't wish the situation on anyone - just pointing out that he can often dish it out without taking it.

Art & life, two different things.

Although, if they're in the media looking for sympathy, that's art. He'd just be in melodrama mode.

With every good wish

Andy you should work for The Sun. You've got distorted high octane news screamers down to a fine art. And your Facebook mixes jokes with graphs with denunciations like a tabloid pro.
