If Morrissey is hassled again at US Customs he can thank the "F*CK TRUMP" shirts. If he feels so strongly, be nice to see him wearing the shirt he forces his band to wear.

And, no, I'm not a Trump supporter.

Reckon intel from my CI waiter at the Sunset Marquis said that during the "band meeting" before they left for LAX was that Irish Blood English Heart was going to be part of the set list and Uncle Steve was going to change the lyric to "Irish Blood Mexican Heart". I guess there is still time.

Reckon remember in 1985 when Uncle Steve completely ignored Kajagoogoo backstage at Brixton Polytechnicshirewart Academy and then Fat Andy ate 5 Big Macs? Reckon that was blood proper top mental mat.

Classic. I saw Moz getting a full pint of beer in the face at Glasgow Barrowlands back before Quarry and he didn't walk off. Bloody great concert that was, hearing Irish Blood and First of the Gang and Crashing Bores ages before they made it onto an album.

I am afraid we don't have that much time anymore and neither does Moz. So I am still hoping he will do maybe two new songs in Mexico-city which was sold out in a couple of days.
How many tickets sold? 20.000? 25.000?
This concert was just to get in the right mode or mood for it.
Praying!

No, they're not like any other songs, these songs are different, because they're MOZ !!! :tiphat:
Now if he played Hand in Glove, that would really be something. Especially if Jesse could learn it! :p
Seriously though. The fella has a rich back catalogue, and for him to refuse so much of it year after year is just baffling.

You've got every right to spend your time and money on a cut-rate band with a cartoon singer. It'll only get easier for you, as time passes. Soon, there'll be residencies at your local off-strip casino. You won't even have to drive around. Just book a piss-stained room for the week and you'll be able to take in the same set every night for 7 days. Hit that hard shooter. ....but don't think - for a moment - that anyone on the cities and countries you vaguely reference give a rats-ass about a washed-up turd that hasn't been relevant in 25 years.

The only difference between Morrissey and Pat Boone is that Morrissey makes his living off of shitty covers of his own previous material. ...and Pat Boone's band is infinitely better.

Well go to PatBoone-Solo.com and stay there.

The Donald will be signing an Executive Order today barring Moz and band from getting back into the USA, based on those t-shirts. Don't be banking on the US shows actually happening.

Let's hope Donald gets to work and kicks Morrissey's sorry ass out of America for good.

Reckon about the residency..even with all of Aunt Nancy's pull in Vegas, she still couldn't get her little tiger a gig in any of the hotels or casinos, reckon there's always Reno, given Uncle Steve gets top billing over the Puppet Show. Reckon score one kick in the corner for Wayne Newton over Uncle Steve.

Reckon if Uncle Steve gets denied entry at LAX, Malibu will riot! He's quite the "man about Malibu". I am liking the friction now between John Lydon and Uncle Steve considering John Lydon likes Trump and how he said now his favorite food is "tongue". I like how they just look down now when they pass each other by where all the muffins are at the Calabasas Costco.

I ask this question seriously to those who have actual experience and/or knowledge: How long does it take for a musician who is reasonably talented, actually learn a song? I know it largely depends on the musician and song being asked to play, but does anyone have any insight? (that is not ridiculing).

Also, who do you think is the rate limiting musician when it comes to learning new songs? I'd say it's between Mando (bass player?) and Jesse (songs he hasn't written himself)...see 'All The Lazy Dykes'.

I personally really enjoy Mr. Walker's drumming. I think he does a great job and is fun to watch. Boz is obviously very talented, but I question his drive sometimes.

Have a good one...

reading about 100 comments, and it's yawn yawn yawn

these song are, he played [the last years] live are good,
if you don't wanna see ...it's MORRISSEY...I wound't mind
if he covers all songs from the Sweet [70 glam poppy band]
and if I can sit, where I don't have to use a monocle

yes he could change some songs, but setlist has always give
a negative vibe, or he just plays an hour, it's never good...for me I would gladly had sit in the venue and would a great evening

next gig

i have that on bootleg I got from the barras, your right it is a fantastic concert.after he gets soaked he says IF YOU SEE ANYBODY THROWING STUFF WILL YOU WOP THEM crowd cheers.

I agree but also I don't understand how some people empty their bank accounts going to Moz concerts night after night. Same songs. Same everything. Once per tour is enough.
Yeah. I had a great time at both of my shows in November but even I am getting sick of seeing this setlist. If he tours Australia again and it's this same set list I'd have to scratch my head hard to think of a reason to go. It's not so much that I wouldn't enjoy hearing the songs again. The main turn off would be that he thinks it's okay to sing the same songs again and that does not sit well.

The footage of the dog being shot always makes me infuriated. What did the cops think the hound would do - draw a concealed weapon and open up on them ? What a bunch of limp dick pseudo-soldiers ...
Thanks for posting.

He may be doing the same old songs but at least he's still doing them with vim and vigour. Also the new outfit is cool. Much better than those chevron shirts.

ps: the dog shot f***ing kills me too.

Yes, dear friend marred, he may be doing the same old songs but ALWAYS/EVER with elegant vim and full class vigour.

I don't know I'd see him again but then I dont go to every show. I saw him in 2015 in d.c and seven of the twenty songs in that set list were different than this one so seeing him again even with this set list would be pretty sweet. I think it more that people have certain songs and eras they want to hear again and he doesn't play a lot of old stuff but plays a lot of the current album with a few oldies. If I did see him again I'd love to hear alma matters and Jack the Ripper or ouija board which were songs he wasn't playing at that time
