Anyone know why Morrissey chooses his wonderful backdrops of images of his heros?

I was thinking, that the reason he probably uses them is because he feels secure and feels as if they are looking down on him.

For example, let's say you were a performer, wouldn't you feel more confident and secure with a huge picture of Morrissey in the back. I know I would...
