Please be kind.

This is my first real go at anything 'realistic' since my life classes at college almost 2 years ago!!
Its painted on fabric, and took me an afternoon.
Its of a young, smiling Morrissey.

Pilkipedia paths cross....

Liked your work there, like your work here

^ I like the perceived blending of organic and angular forms in your drawing style. It's quite interesting and very, very borderline-abstract without looking "caricaturized", if you know what I mean. IDK if it makes sense, but that's the best I can do.

I made this for someone I was introducing The Smiths to via a package trade a while back:

Thanks, gurl.

I made this patch one horrific, bored, sweaty night during a week without power after last year's hurricane (it was just a few months shy of a year ago now):

It was my first very, very failed attempt at making a screen with drawing fluid. I didn't let it set long enough and was using some fabric store shit that had way too large a mesh, so it was f***ed after one printing... also, the flowers were printed too high and ended up just looking like period stains, but it is what it is. :)

Earlier last year my uncle got me a small Smiths poster thing. It is wood painted black with white splotches on it and a crying moon with a black and white picture of Morrissey and Johnny Marr. The poster was made by a guy named Dino Perez. I just hung up the poster on my wall, and I decided to look up his name. I found this video of his other Smiths art.

I don't suppose he is a member of this website? If you are, great job and thank you!:thumb: I love my poster.
