Re: Videos of san diego, may 22nd show.

no "faroff places" or "paris"?

Sorry, my friend. Unfortunately, there were many people that thought they could just stand in the aisles next to you and block your view . I mean, really, at least have some kind of consideration.

ANYWAYS, so yeah, a lot of my footage was blocked. :(

14 [band takes a bow] - STILL ILL- "Feliz cumpleaños Morrissey !!!" - "When you go to bed tonight, hands underneath covers, think of me" - [many stage invaders] - ***Note: You will see a guy on a stretcher being carried out. I hope he's okay***

Thanks :thumb:

Anyone notice that the 'long haired guy' made it on stage twice?
Both times appearing from back stage.
Here at 3:25 then again at 4:03 .... Not sure whether this is worrying or hilarious

The wrong long haired guy made it backstage.

This was my first ever Morrissey concert and I could not be more impressed and grateful. As a fan, I knew all his songs, so singing along just came naturally but when he sang my favorites like 'I know its Over', I completely lost it, i cried my eyes out as I sang along! It was the best experience being there, He gave me goosebumps. It was an unbelievable moment when I realized that all these years of singing in my room and crying in bed to Moz songs....that I was ACTUALLY there!!! Live!! And damn that Shocktop was good. VIVA MOZ!!!!!

Not necessarily. But it might have been nice if he'd washed it since Christmas, bit of conditioner maybe. Or even troubled it with a comb this month would've been nice.

I bet is was warm and swaety

washinbg your hair with shampoo [hair] plus conditioner everyday is not good for your hair

If you don't use hairproduct to style your hair, that I must add

a shower every morning is my advice, don't use too much soap and deo after

I've seen Moz in 1991 (good show but short due to all the stage invaders); and Tuesday's show in SD was def. top 2 of his shows for me. The other top show was in TJ, Mexico. People stop ranting about the setlist. We all have seen the post here on M-Solo and knew what was expected. I was glad to hear: Let me Kiss you, I know it's Over and ending it with Still Ill (what up Voz - SD's Tribute to Smiths/Morrissey). I was able to sneak down to the floor and was about 8 feet away from the Mozzer. I was able to video all the intros before each song. I'll post as soon as I edit them all. It was a little more crowd friendly as compared to the Escondido and Symphony Hall shows where you felt obligated to stay in front of your seat. Having the Sports Arena (ok VVCA) in a half setup meant everyone was able to get a good view of SPM. We tried to get the birthday song going, but I think (like what was posted already) we all wanted to hear what St. Morrissey had to say. Who else can go to a city and venue and make them stop serving any type of meat? Only the man himself...he's so bad ass. Thanks for great show Moz!

Thought you guys might appreciate seeing the ad for that first US show....

Have it and a couple of other Moz related things (91X "meet & greet" + Hollywood Bowl '92) up on a Facebook page with a bunch of scans from ye olde concert scrapbook. Enjoy!

Thanks for posting this. Very interesting look back.

He still sounds amazing. Better than ever. Unfortunately his band sounds like shit. Guitars- Boz's playing has deteriorated as much as his weight gain and Jesse TobASS is a hack. He couldn't last a minute withe the chili peppers and was quickly discarded. The keyboard player may well be the worst keyboard player in history. He's only in the band because Moz gets pleasure from introducing him and saying his name. Rhythm section are as basic as they come. What a tragic affair for the greatest singer on earth.
