Watching the Joan Rivers thread unfold, made me start thinking about stereotypes.

To what extent do you judge both individuals and cultures based upon any pre-conceived stereotypes you might have?
Not necessarily by race or religion, but perhaps also by how a person dresses, what type of music they enjoy, etc...

learned some things about the Dutch this summer & sister, it was all good!

individuals? we all suck in our own particular way :straightface: but I try to forgive us(yes, I include myself) for it
cultures? I have a lot of preconceived notions about peoples of the world, places and things :crazy:
however, the key for me is being aware of this and then going about shattering many of them
though others have only be reinforced by personal experience, which believe it or not, often simply makes me sad :o
the truth is, thinking I know things about whatever bores me, I'd rather be challenged, but hey, maybe thats just me :confused:
