"Stretford Poet" - A companion to California Son (while we wait)

Irregular Regular

Forget my fate.
While we wait for California Son, I thought I'd put together a compilation of cover versions released by Moz as a solo artist.
Studio recordings only (with the exception of Redondo Beach, which is taken from the Janice Long radio session of course).

Track listing:

1. East West
2. That's Entertainment
3. Skin Storm
4. Moonriver
5. Interlude
6. No One Can Hold A Candle To You
7. Redondo Beach
8. Human Being
9. A Song From Under The Floorboards
10. Back On The Chain Gang
11. It's Over

The cover I've cobbled together for my iTunes:

Thank you.
Kudos for the cover.
I just got Loneliness... on blu-ray.
Tom is incredible in it - not an easy going film, but one people should see.

FWD.

Nice concept (and lovely cover), IR. Although, just to play devil's advocate, wouldn't the true companion to California Son - especially given your most excellent title - be a compilation of British music covers? Mine would have to include:

Losing My Mind - Pet Shop Boys
Days - The Kinks
What's Shakin' on the Hill - Nick Lowe
Virginia Plain - Roxy Music
Moments of Pleasure - Kate Bush

Haha!
Yes, it did cross my mind.
The initial intention was to make it an all British affair, trouble is we do not have sufficient material.
I wanted to use studio recordings only you see, and if I were to discard Moonriver, Interlude, Redondo Beach, Human Being, Chain Gang and It's Over we wouldn't be left with much of an album, would we? :lbf:
Thanks for the compliments by the way.

Any chance of uploading the compilation as its expired

Cheers

Your Cover is infinitely better than any of the efforts Sam E & Morrissey have mocked up recently (well, I argue it started going bad after ROTT).

BTW What is your fave cover song (besides "It’s Over") from your compilation? My vote would probably be No One Can Hold A Candle To You with East West a close second...

Hoping someone can re-up these? Links are expired...

Many thanks...
Can do so in the small hours UK time if nobody does so in the meantime.
Regards,
FWD.
