Las Vegas (Dec. 16) rescheduled + more west coast dates

From the man himself...  the final show of the tour will be the rescheduled House Of Blues  in Vegas on Dec. 16th. Before that (though not yet confirmed) are Reno, San Francisco, Pasadena Civic and Ventura. No east coast dates.

Apparently Sack will be supporting. From elsberry:

According to Sack (spoke to them yesterday in Copenhagen) they are going to join Morrissey for 8 gigs in California after the British dates.

This is all that I've heard (don't know if there will be 2 shows in Vegas as previously rumored, or if the total of 8 concerts is correct). I'll post as more details come in.

I'm quite bitter and jaded. I'm not going to any of the shows. I'm tired of standing in line for nothing. Don't get me wrong, Moz is my idol, but I don't have to see him live to show my adoration. I'm sure i'll get over it eventually.:)

Boy I sure am glad I moved out west. I really do feel for you guys out east because if this was six months earlier I wouldn't be seeing Morrissey either. I was at the first Vegas show and unless there are going to be two shows this time around I am going to San Francisco. I will only have to spend half as much flying there. Lets get thoes dates ASAP!

Yeah!!!

gee, i'm so glad this thing has come full circle again. Right back where we started.

Isn't this referred to as a Mexican standoff? The irony.

Whelp, we've already determined that the west coast is a waste of my time and money and it won't be different the second time, I can promise you that. The people will be the same, and I will be the same person.

Dum Dum, the magical flying elf of Mudholland Falls, is not going to appear and carry me off into the promised land.

Did it mean I was happy that the part of the tour I saw turned out that way? Hell no. That was hard.

It's a good thing I came back like I did. If I hadn't, all the other things that I had been working on for years would not have come full circle....

What ever happened to Chicago? It's obvious that Morrissey only cares about his west coast neighbors and fans. But, there do exist a few of us in the outlands, formerly known as the rest of the United States, what the hell? It doesn't matter what I say, if they decide to not even care than they can, it's up to them.

im sorry, but anyone in california who is
"thanking god" for morrissey coming to a city closer to you now should SHUT UP..the most anyone in california would have had to drive to see one of the shows at the beginning of the tour is 10 hours or less...some of us drove and flew from the east coast to see a show,or shows..stop being so lazy, and drive a few hours..

On that night, I will be drowsing off on my futon with a Bailey's and cream in my hand to the dulcid sounds of the Blair Witch Project. Visions of wooden stick dolls dancing in my head.

The rest of you have fun. I will enjoy reading your comments later on.

Just a few short weeks ago, Morrissey was the spawn of Satan and a bastard on this very site; and all because ONE show was cancelled for someone's personal and serious health condition.

Now, he's a hero again and can't do anything wrong, right? What if Morrissey dies in a firey plane crash on the way into Vegas? I suppose he will just be a DEAD selfish @#!!! who doesn't think of his fans.

Do you follow yet? HYPOCRIECY? Isn't that one of the reasons why you're a fan? Morrissey is different from most other people in his line of work and actually does think of his fans.

I just wish some of you would have a little more faith and loyalty.

Have we heard a place for the rumored SF date, yet? Maybe he can play out at the old Cow Palace - or would the name strike up some bitter, angst towards animal cruelty? And then he would have to cancel and we would be no further from the beginning then when we started this tour.

Geezus H.

I don't think anyone called Morrissey a meanie for cancelling that show. I remember wanting to put my foot up the asses of those who got on stage that night and wrenched his back. They spoiled my fun, and I won't forgive them. Same goes for the couple at Coachella who teamed up and shoved me backwards after I was trying to worm my way through to the front which was less than 3 feet away because I was tired, needed an escape from the crowd, and needed some air.

You see, that is CONSISTANCY.

I don't recall even thinking of Morrissey as the 'spawn of Satan' or as evil in anyway, (is evil just something you are, or something you do)? The key word is RATIONAL. It's reasonable for Morrissey (who toured Europe mind you) to play A (one singluar) concert location outside of the west coast in America.

My comment earlier my have been "dramatic", and I'm so glad to see that so many of you are quite upset that I made yet another comment.

Though it was "darmatic", (though not as much as some wishing Morrissey dead) my comment was completely accurate and true.
