He didn't, but that's how it felt to me. Many fans were annoyed over the cancellations earlier this year. I read this as M saying he's better now and we'll all have a great time! This statement was so extra morrisseyish that it tickled me and I'd imagine many others!
This is his way of apologizing to us weirdos. I, for one, am here for it! I LOVE this statement and I am in the mood! ❤️ Unfortunately, I cannot realistically make it to Vegas next month, but I will definitely be waiting, with bated breath, to watch it on YouTube. I hope!
Ugh.
What Morrissey needs to do is explain to people that he's a single issue (non) voter.
What would you would have to do is admit that he should've been a little more careful with where he threw his support and thought it through a little more. I doubt this will happen.
That is a matter of opinion of course. I've been a fan for over 30 years and I love World Peace. I went to the most concerts during that tour. I think that's part of the reason it special for me.
I interpreted this post as M saying he would've charted even higher if it had been a more reasonable price. Held down by the man again. 🤣 but I am of course half joking because we also know that it is partially true.
Sounds vaguely familiar, but I don't really remember. I wish he would do something like that again. As most of you agree, there's not too much interesting going on on Morrissey Central. They usually get the news after us. Lol.
Can you imagine if our Morrissey answered fan questions??!! That would be absolutely amazing. Obviously you could pick and choose which questions he answered. C'mon! Add it to Morrissey Central! 🤩
I'm hoping this indicate some kind of good news! As others have said, I fear it doesn't mean much. I imagine though no matter what, Morrissey will eventually get the album back. He's not gonna let it go forever. Here's hoping that it's coming soon!
And how about an update on our dear...
The song is not remotely about Morrissey. Which is fine. It seems like his name was just plugged in because it fit. If anything it shows how ingrained in pop culture he is. However, in my travels I am surprised how many people have never heard of Morrissey.
Morrissey CANNOT be erased from the history of The Smiths. It is not possible. We know that much of the magic came from Morrissey. I don't even know why he makes these comments. It's unnecessary. He doesn't have anything to prove. I also wish he wouldn't say that he's the only "central essence"...
