Fellow Mozers-

Here's one more bit of info. on the Vegas date: Tickets went on sale just now (12pm Vegas time) and the ticketmaster rep. I spoke with said that she didn't expect them to sell out today. She said there was more interest for the Tom Petty show...Tickets, when all is said and done, are about $37.75--which is about half the price of Coachella. Gen. Admission is on the floor for $30 and seating is $35 in the balcony.

Good luck to those buying tickets.

Seating

I think the floor would be better--unless you're really, really short...This concert reminds me of the NYC 2 show in '97 (the one at Hammerstein Ballroom). The Ballroom has a couple of balconies like the HOB, but you really couldn't get up close to the mozzer...for you're money I think, unless you don't want to get sweaty, the floor is where the Moz fans belong.

Re: Seating and general Vegas info

I agree with Andy. I got tickets for the floor, as well. I intend to TRY to make it as near the front as possible. I'll be wearing boots with a good extra 1 and a half inch on the heel so I'll be able to see better. As long as there is no moshing or floating it should be great!
As far as at which hotel in Vegas you should stay...well, according to their website the Mandalay Bay (which houses the House of Blues) is sold out that night. I am staying at the Luxor, right next door. Both the Luxor and the Excalibur have moving walkways which enable you to pass through these casinos without even going outside. They both connect to Mandalay Bay. There are a million hotels there, and if you want something cheap go to Motel 6 and just take a taxi.
So I am staying in Vegas Thursday and Friday night and driving straight to Coachella from there Saturday morning. Moz or bust, baby!

By the way, do you guys think Morrissey prefers Roulette or Blackjack? Or maybe he's addicted to the nickel slots?
