Right, that's it, after hearing that [35 to choose from ;-)] I'm off to Kroatia and Serbia ... and now that the ebay prices seem to be coming down (ha ha ha, serves the touts right!) I might try for a couple of UK dates as well ... I have quite a bit of holiday left after all.

I am not sure what his record sales are like in Spain but Morrissey should do his own show in Barcelona too. Well at least you just have the feeling that it's a city where he'd have a lot of support, Madrid as well. Benicassim sounds tempting to go to this year but it's still not his own event.

Super time of the year for you to go over there though! I was there (and in Tarragona) last October, when it's normally still quite warm and sunny ... but had 5/6 days of non-stop torrential rain. But at least there it doesn't matter so much ... I did get very wet though!

As for going to the Nou Camp, super ... do you have tickets?
Well I can watch them on telly here tonight too, can't I? ;-)
I hope you get to see Ronaldhino play!

You possibly know the city (BCN) a bit but if not, some of the shops around Born and St.Pere are very cool, in a Schanze/Markt Strasse kind of way, but cheaper and great to look at. I like going round there and I always bring things back. And the food ... fantastic. How long are you going there for? Hope you have a good trip!

As for Naddel ;-)that's a funny story ... I hadn't heard her name mentioned for a while ... ughh I shudder when I think about that crowd (Michael Ammer, Bohlen, Wollenberg etc.) That breed is dying out though.

Viel Spaß bei der "Invasion". Bin schrecklich neidisch auf euch alle, hoffe aber, dass der Maestro sich vielleicht doch noch die Ehre in hamburg oder Berlin gibt. Irgendwer hier hat ja gesagt, Bozz hätte etwas in der Richtung angedeutet.

also, ich flieg mit meinem besten Freund und wir treffen da noch jemanden aus Hamburg....außerdem auf eine ganze Gang die teils in MCR ansässig ist, teils aus Spananien einfliegt. N Drink klar, wenn unser straffer Reiseplan es zulässt, ähem. Mail doch mal (addy s.o.)

Das traurige ist, Boz erfährt es immer (mit) zuletzt, wann es wo tatsächlich hingeht.... Der ist original schon mal einen Tag vor einer Tour benachrichtigt worden "errr ja Boz pack mal schnell ein paar Schlüpfer ein und übrigens bist du jetzt drei Monate nicht zu Hause....".

Aber mich würde es auch wundern, wenn es nicht früher oder später nach D ginge.... nur Geduld. Wie gesagt, es gab ja schon 12 Dates in der Pipeline, die kommen bestimmt irgendwann.

Oh I hope so too... I'm not quite sure whether we have tickets yet but the company I'm travelling with has set an intern on a full-time mission to hunt some down. I guess they're serious...

I have absolutely never been there before and I'm very excited about it... I'll be there from Friday to Monday (then 3 days of work, then Manchester, yay!). A company I do some freelance work for is taking me on a kind of high profile "Firmenausflug". Mind you that's a concert agency with mostly young people so I reckon there'll be some time for drinks and frolicks =) They're still a client though so I best don't misbehave too much.

The fem boss of an agency I used to work for once said to me that she was in love with Ammer when she was about my age.....note that I'm not 12 and I guess it has less to do with age rather than misled taste anyway. The very sight of him on tv makes me want to throw up...the dark side of Hamburg, I say.

Ist alles wirklich so kurzfristig geplant? Kaum vorstellbar auf so ein Tournee, wie im dieses Jahr. Und ich hab immer gedacht dass Boz viel mehr mit der Organisation zu tun hatte. War das genau bie dem Oye Esteban Tournee als sie kein Platten Firma hatten?
Boz muss eigentlich ständig unterwegs sein (fährt sein Frau oft mit?)
Übrigens, er sieht irgendwie schlanker und jünger als im vergleich zu 2004.

Geplant ist es schon längerfristig, aber manchmal denkt halt keiner dran, den Betroffenen auch rechtzeitig Bescheid zu sagen... =) Das es soooo knapp war, ist aber tatsächlich glaub ich nur einmal vorgekommen, und das ist schon ein paar Jahre her.

Boz hat mit der Tourplanung nichts zu tun... der wird vor dem Gig bis vor die Tür gefahren, geht auf die Bühne, spielt, und sucht hinterher die nächstgelegene Bar =)

Die Plattenfirma hat in der Regel mit der Tour auch nichts zu tun, sondern ein Promoter und das eigene Management - in den Jahren ohne Plattendeal kann ich mir aber vorstellen, dass Morrissey seine Tourpläne weitestgehend selbst bestimmt hat. Überhaupt scheint er in diesen Prozess viel mehr involviert zu sein als die meisten anderen Künstler. Wie sonst wäre es möglich, dass eine ganze Arena mal eben auf fleischlose Kost umstellt?? Was denen jedes Mal für Umsätze flöten gehen....

Boz ist irre viel unterwegs, den hält kaum was zu Hause, Moz tour oder nicht.... Seine Frau Lyn macht immer wieder "Abstecher", ansonsten passt sie zu Hause auf Kinder, Hund und Haus auf. Morrissey mag Lyn total gerne - auf der Tour durch Australien vor ein paar Jahren hat er darauf bestanden, dass Lyn mit ihm im Van fährt. Wer sie kennt, den wundert das aber nicht: Lyn ist die weibliche Version von Boz! ;-) Ehrlich, die zwei sind wie Geschwister.... Lyn ist vielleicht noch ein bißchen frecher und selbstbewußter.

Thanks for that information. Maybe I'm too sentimental or nostalgic but I like that fact that Boz has been around for so long.
Written great songs, a great musician and I guess all-round great guy to have along with you. It's funny but the way you described their home setup and Moz with the Boorers was just how I imagined it (and hoped it would be).
It was nice to read that this afternoon!!

By the way, today I have had this funny premunition that he'll play here in HH in the Stadtpark in August/September (Freilicht Bühne)
