I would advise him to do whatever it is he was doing while writing for The Smiths. The man could do no wrong then. He was in top form. He's done some amazing stuff since but nothing that can hold a candle to songs such as 'There is a Light,' 'Suffer Little Children,' 'The Hand that Rocks the Cradle,' - I can go on and on. Some of his solo stuff sounds like he wrote with no enthusiasm behind it.
I'd also advise him not to gain a significant amount of weight and dye his hair blonde like Eminem like he did in a recent dream I had.
I would say "Carry on being yourself, Moz" and quite possibly "Do your best and don't worry" (that may be because I'm listening to that song right now though).
I wouldn't advise him to do anything. I don't think he takes "advise" - ever. It would be a waste of time and breath. However, having said that, I do agree that he should get his old lineup back.
Oh, and take more vitamins. Eat more green leafy foods. Stop getting sick! Um, reschedule the Asheville, NC show!
