Who is the most intelligent song lyricist who ever lived?

New band in worst interview ever shocker.

I feel a bit sorry for them because they believe their own shite. The lead singer is going to be gutted when he realises his band aren't groundbreaking, but that they're destined to join the large pile of forgettable indie dross.

New band in worst interview ever shocker.

First of all their band name is bloody awful. Then they go and say this; "I think If you stuck Iggy Pop, James Brown, David Bowie and Shirley Bassey in a lift, then you'd probably have our band."......then you hear them sing. What a gang of pretentious wankers!

What is the worst song ever written?

Now this is the ultimate pile of wank. I shudder every time they say 'sick' and as for the repetition of 'put a donk on it'.....Beyond dreadful. When I was younger I used to like the kol, thought they sounded different, gave this current album a chance and well, it wasn't worth the...

Sex On Fire should be a contender. When I hear it I feel to gauge my eyes out with a shoe horn. :)

Re: Echo & The Bunnymen - Manchester's Ritz, Thurs 13th October Ah, by Gary Glitter I thought you meant the place had a generally dodgy feel to it. :o Thank Christ I never got to see a Dirty Glitter gig. But a home town Bunnymen gig at Christmas, what could be better :guitar:

Echo & The Bunnymen - Manchester's Ritz, Tuesday 13th October

Re: Echo & The Bunnymen - Manchester's Ritz, Thurs 13th October Nah you're mistaken, there might be a slight Gary Glitter feel to Academy two, but the bigger room; Academy one has a definite non-GG feel. The Bunnymen will be great there, but I may even consider attending the Ritz gig too. The...

Echo & The Bunnymen - Manchester's Ritz, Tuesday 13th October

Re: Echo & The Bunnymen - Manchester's Ritz, Thurs 13th October Swerve Manchester, It's all about the two nights they're doing at the Liverpool 02 academy in December. Both already sold out of course but I'll get me tickets :thumb:

My fault? :( Well then, my favourite bands from the 80s (apart from the smiths), the bunnymen, the cure and the JAMC. :)

That's always good advice ;) Nah, it was the overwhelming smell of piss that was the clincher to be honest :thumb:
