Well I see why they used a cover version -- with the preview they put together I don't really feel like a blazing electric guitar and synth string 'Lost' would have really fit well. It was something that required a quieter piece.

'Lost' really works perfectly for it, from what I understand about the content of the movie.
However, the lady's voice..

Really? I just saw this movie 3 days ago and I didn't notice this song. I even stayed to read the song credits because there were some cool songs. Maybe it's just used in the trailer but not in the film

I don't think this is an official trailer. I've seen that trailer & you hear the actors', a voice over, etc. I think this is just someone laying this cover over a trailer & posting it.?.?.

Thank You. the lady has a lovely voice, but I am tired of morrissey's beautiful songs not getting the notoreity it deserves,and if it is its some bloody cover.

Don't think it is actually on the film or official trailer,seems like she's just added her own vocals to the trailer from both films.

Clever bit of self publicity though.
