Have any of you guys checked Gustavo Manzur's music background? To be honest, I cannot quite understand this, taken in march 2011. I can't picture Moz sitting watching his fellow band member play this type of icky-yucky music. He's got better taste than this, c'mon! I don't think he deserves being in Morrissey's band.

uh so you're saying he is undeserving of being in his band because he has played music you don't like? what kind of logic is that? every good musician is well versed in more than one tradition of music, and i am sure every fine musician out there has learned/performed other kinds of music in their lives. he seems to be doing a stellar job currently so what does it even matter? plus it seems like he's playing traditional folk music from south america, which is obviously the culture he is from, the place that morrissey just toured, and where they have legions of fans...so again...what's your point?

Harsh Truth and goinghome I'm glad you read the thread and took it with a shot of humour. My intention was to give my point of view on my personal taste on music (btw, I have lived in south america for the past 32 years so I know that song fairly well) But anyways, I never meant to offend anyobody and I hope you understand this. I honestly think Gustavo's performance here in Peru was quite good. Vibes!!

First of all.. you should respect different cultures from yours.
YOU DON'T NEED TO LIKE IT, BUT YOU MAY RESPECT IT.
