Being a hippy is trendy again?
Morrissey isn't a hippy.
However, he has similar traits, especially anti-establishment attitude your sister might got the impression, I suppose.

He's to young to be a hippy. You have to be at least 55 years old in order to be a certified hippy.
Everybody knows Morrissey's too much of a breadhead to be a hippy. And where do you go to get a hippy license? Is there a test? And if you turn up on time for the test you fail? And if you turn up stoned on the wrong day you pass with honors?
In that case he could be a punk too.
Yeah, Morrissey is definitely a punk rather than a hippy.

In the '80s a lot of people thought he was a hippie; I don't know how anyone could mistake him for one these days, though (no offense to your sister).

I think we're seeing a graphic illustration of why programmers often get beat up by punk rockers. O the tragedy of it all.
I shouldn't laugh really, I was this close to becoming one. Then I saw the error of my ways.
Did that error happen to be a ClassNotFoundException? Or maybe an UnsupportedLookAndFeelException?
