The Smiths at The Haigh Building in Liverpool, 40 year ago today. My 3rd roll of 35mm film & my 1st attempt at colour, unfortunately the lighting was shocking for my 2nd attempt at live music Photography. #thesmiths #1983 22.10.1983.

Wonderful, would have loved to have seen them in '83 when they were gaining speed.
The strange colour affect actually enhances them i think.

Great shots I had the same issues with the colours on some old negatives that i took of them when they played the palace theatre in Manchester in 1985.I had to change the colour profile when scanning them.If you've got the negatives it can make all the difference..
