First time posting here....

I've just watched the 1971 movie The Anderson Tapes and noticed that the Smiths Rank cover photo
appears in one of the scenes...

P.S... Not really a huge Smiths fan, but love William It Was Really Nothing, and the intro to Queen Is Dead.

Sweet holy Moses, that is above and beyond the call of duty. Amazing.

Glad someone liked it!

I don't get how a forum posting can have 128 views, yet the image link itself only 14

Did 100+ people actually read my posting and not bother to check the actual thing out??!!!

The lass in question, Alexandra Bastedo, is not in the actual movie, so I can only assume she
was somehow know to somebody on the production team.

Oh well, I'll get back to my Floyd forums... We love this sort of stuff; DSOTM and Wizard of Oz,
Syd Barrett's address played backwards etc.... etc.....

It's taken from the 1967 book Birds of Britain by photographer John D Green, of course. But amusingly it sort of looks like there's a Rank CD in existence back there in 1971. Good stuff.
