Scott Weiland covers The Smiths on new solo album

I just came across this, Scott Weiland will be covering Reel Around The Fountain on disk 2 of his new solo album "Happy" in Galoshes.

I don't know who Scott Weiland is but this album is just No Doubt with a different singer.

His cover of "Fame" isn't bad. Actually, the entire album is pretty decent. I haven't heard "Reel Around the Fountain" yet.

STP also covered "But Not Tonight" by Depeche Mode and "Dancin Days" by Led Zep. I like both.

it's hard to hear his voice on the heavier STP songs, but if you ever listen to their album "Tiny Music" there's some slower tunes on that one that are really nice and show off his range.

I'm not a huge fan of Scott but I liked some of the more strange things that STP did. Their cover of Dancin' Days is actually really good so hopefully he won't murder Reel Around the Fountain.
