Ha ha!!!!
God, I @#!!!ing hate the Scabs. I hate their music because they remind me of 3 year olds who crack themselves up saying "you're a poopie head!" over and over, and I especially hate the crowds they attract. A bunch of sad yuppies, and a bunch of dirty old men come to feel up the college aged girls.
I also hate all of their crossover projects like La Tribu.
So, if you want to be technial about it, the Scabs are probably playing all over town tonight. They're probably in your friend's band and you just don't know it.

No, don't save your money! Get out while you can! You'll have plenty of time to be bored and thrifty this year.
I've only been to Flamingo Cantina once, but they always have those bands with names like Sexy Finger Champs which sound a bit intriguing...bands like Squat Thrust are fun. I wouldn't mind seeing that again.
but for some reason, I've never had the nerve to go in by myself...like the Atomic Cafe, for example. Emo's is OK because they attract all types, but I'll be damned if I can drag anyone I know in there to see the Donna's when they talk about Mingo Fishtrap as if they are THE live event of the year.
