Went to see El Vez's Xmas show at the Troubadour in W.HWD last night. Some of you must have been there because the high pitched screams when El Vez said "Morrissey."
So basically El Vez finished a song and took the fake flowers out of his back pocket then said, "I learned that move from Morrissey." Then went on to say what a nice guy he is and how he teases him about being an immigrant. This turned into the introduction to his song about Mexican immigrants coming over the border. It's sung to the tune of Elvis' song, "Caught In a Trap."
Sounds like he & Moz are good friends. Although I looked, there was no Moz to be found. The show was fun, but basically the same one he did last year.
