Tropical Depression IRENE!

I knew there was something sweltering and exotic in her (in)disposition.

Wasn't tropical storm Irene from years back?

Is this from the NWS archives or is it current? We could use a little storm action before the summer is over.

How about staying 200 miles off the coast for some good waves because if I come home to a tree on top of my house I'm going to be mad.

Cod gets "icky" with girls over the internet.

Stay tuned, more at 11.

That hurricane off shore around 96 or 97 generated some intense surf.

Very funny, Nick...

I am sorry that the clammy gropings of jealousy about your love-sick wooer's heart are such as to compel a jaded misreading of "ickyness" in even slighting (though good natured) humour.

Poor Nick, get thee to a physician.. or step boldly from the shade and declare thyself, thy fevers, and thy amore!

And I need to lay off the opera for a while...

You certainly do, Liberace.

That wasn't the halloween storm was it? There was one where sand was pushed all the way on that front street in cape may.
Have you been down to Cape May Point this summer? That beach replenishment was a disaster. People are complaining but it's all going to be washed away in the fall with the first 'noreaster.

Funny you should mention that, I was there last weekend. The Coral Ave. beach on which I spent many summers into my later teenage years is now a barren non swimming beach and St. Pete's is more crowded than ever. It's bizarre, and the erosion on the beaches without artificial coral reefs has already begun.
