I'm 17 and I'll be 18 in exactly one month. Been listening to Moz since I was 13.
Nice location
Oh yes
Nice to see some fellow "göteborgare" here, quite many Swedes now
I bid you welcome!
Thank you!
Have you noticed that there are many Morrissey lookalikes in Göteborg nowadays?
Yes indeed, was some article in a tabloid that about 20% of the hairdressers have been asked to make a Morrissey-haircut. And CD-specialisten has a fairly good collection of Morrissey/The Smiths stuff. Do you have any other place to recommend?
Cheers
I read that article too. It was hillarious. But wasn't that one or two years ago? I guess now 20% of the haircuts are emo-fringes.
Yes, but CD-specialisten isn't a very good record shop anymore. It's all about the t-shirts now.
Unfortunately "Udda Ting" closed.. They sometimes had lovely things.
Sometimes you can find some nice things in the second hand at CD-specialisten but yes that's all.
Yes the emo's are plentiful these days, have even seen hiphopers (50 cent style) convert to emos . The end is near!
May just be predjuices but most girls seems to have a BD period or something similair. Håkan Hellström Emos .
I used to like BD very much. I got bored with them though, don't know why..
But Håkan H's just too much. It's amusing to hear how much he steals from Morrissey and Smiths. A Håkan-girl once said "Why is that old man stealing Håkans words?" after hearing Everyday is like Sunday.

What!? Oh my, those Håkan fans I know know about that he's a large Moz fan (some week ago he said in GP that it was "Hatful Of Hollow" that made him begin to listen to music). Funny how his fan has managed to miss him. Too bad all of his covers are really bad. Well, it's up to Navid Modiri to save Göteborg's honour, don't you say
It's awful. I guess some of the Håkans fans i know are just into that swedish indiepop and doesn't care about any other music. It's just BD, Kent, Timo, and Marit.
Modiri's really good. I love when he sings "Jag åker spårvagn!" in "Min ofödde bror".
