The '86 Kilburn show from which Rank was taken...here's a good audience recording of the whole show, plus two soundboard-sourced bootlegs (same tracklisting as each other I believe, both different from the officially released version; one is the FM broadcast and the other just says soundboard...both sound great but there is a definite sonic difference...plus three songs from the show which were left off of the album, fan-tweaked to sound like and fit seamlessly into the official record; the notes the uploader/editor made are included.

Speaking of Rank - here's the 3 missing tracks in flac to add to any existing copy of Rank to make it complete.
Don't know how it compares with the above as I'm up to my eyes in boots at the moment - not the worst problem to have, but thought I'd throw it in the pot.

Final show: Brixton '86

I know there are different versions of this show out there but this is the only one I have. I think it's complete. I don't know if it's the Big Al version, which I think is considered the definitive recording. The sound is really good; not totally sure it's soundboard but if not then it's a damn good audience recording.

Irvine California 1986 ("Fiat" version)

This is an alternative fan-mastering of the Irvine show that I got from Smithstorrents. Commonly this show has been known for years as "Thank Your Lucky Stars" (shared here by Famous When Dead) which is an awesome bootleg. I will never forget being 18 and buying it from Record Swap in Homewood, Illinois. But I digress.

I compared the Fiat version to the TYLS version and while both are excellent I must say I believe Fiat is a bit of an upgrade. Anyway, just putting it out there.

Besides the excitement of being there at the time... Absolutely huge thanks goes out to one of our own: the late Adam May for getting the video/audio out there to be enjoyed again in better quality than the Walkman pro managed at the time in the crowd :)

I know there are different versions of this show out there but this is the only one I have. I think it's complete. I don't know if it's the Big Al version, which I think is considered the definitive recording. The sound is really good; not totally sure it's soundboard but if not then it's a damn good audience recording.

Just a bit of Camden Market trivia: Big Al was just the barrel-chested thug who ran one of the bootleg tape stalls, but had his minions do the actual taping. The other stall was run by the 2 Smiths fanatics Paul and Steve who did their own recording/videoing and nowadays torrent downloading sites.
