Painting and Drawing

Better start saving up!
:ROFLMAO:

She's got a good racket going:
"Here, let me paint a picture for you using the supplies I bought with the money the government gave me!"
"Okay, whatever"
"No problem, $80 will be fine!"

Born to Harangue messaged me privately a while back saying he wanted a portrait of him painted. He gave me this photo of him for reference, he is a sensitive soul really so please make it as flattering as you can.

Smiling Morrissey
watercolour on paper
13 x 19"

My fingers shook as I did the ‘eyeliner’ closest to his eyeballs. That’s a phenomenon I’ve noticed before, and I think it’s mind over matter, but I haven’t mastered learning how to make my fingers steady when painting close to Morrissey’s eyeballs. What goes on in my mind to make me shake is a mystery to me, though I have some idea how to steady myself. I’m unsure that my fingers won’t veer off course like they did, especially painting the upper eyelid ‘liner’ closest to his eyeballs. I need more practise, and practising on Morrissey’s eyes is scary, because I don’t want to screw up. I did screw up a little in this painting. Still, I like the portrait very much.
