I live in Pittsburgh. A friend of mine is flying in to visit me on Sunday the 12th.

It would take us 15 hours to drive the 997 miles from Pittsburgh to Tulsa.
Tickets are still on sale for this general admission show.

I feel like all signs are...pointing...to...yes.

What do you think?

I'd definitely ask him/her first.

Yes, of course I'll consult my friend.

But first night of the tour is almost always special, correct?
I feel like I have to do this.

My girlfriend and I and our two friends are driving from South Carolina to Tulsa.. 15 hour drive aswell. We are leaving Saturday night at 11:00 PM. Hopefully getting to Tulsa around 3:00 PM on Sunday, crashing at the hotel, having a few drinks Sunday evening and going to the venue around noon on Monday...
See you there...

At 66.7 miles per hour, I'd say tyou driving too fast, and could possibly ende up being scraped off the motorway. Allow for speed restictions and traffic, you should still make it though. At the most your only 24 hours from Tulsa.

If it were at all possible for me to take four days off work, abandon the wife and kids, get a seaton and pay for a transatlantic flight, travel across the US and get a ticket, I'd be going. Go for it.

i figured you were from across the pond when you said 66 was too fast. i can't remember the last time i saw a car go less than 80mph on the way up to Vegas from So Cal.

what's the average speed in the UK on a highway/motorway?

Couldn't tell ya, but I Ireland its 120km/h (Thats about 75mph). but most roads are 100km/h ( about 60). I really just wanted to squeeze in the "only 24hrs from Tulsa" bit.

What a waste of gas. "America, your belly's too big"?

You realize you're wrecking your fuel efficiency by speeding. For example, if you go 55 instead of 75, depending on your car, you can improve by as much as 10 miles per gallon!

I used to be a speed-demon but nowadays I get a perverse kick out of being the slow-poke who actually observes all posted speed limits. I love when the always-in-a-hurry types get pissed. If they tailgate me in my lil Toyota, I tap on my brake and give em a scare.

Yes, when it comes not being a wasteful person I am a conservative indeed. All those speeding, belligerent SUV drivers with their "Kerry/Edwards" bumper stickers can put that in their pipes and smoke it.

So the rumor is that Moz is starting in Tulsa because he's a fan of Codreanu on this board.

Moz is just paying him back for the lyrics he "borrowed".
