This IS the place to ask questions about Morrissey and the Smiths, and besides not everyone here has been a fan for the past 10 - 15 years or so. Curiosity is an overwhelming urge!

What about a FAQ section for this forum??

Maybe there should be an official FAQ section for people to refer to before they post. I know the Tenacious D forum has one because the same questions are constanly asked. I think you should ease up on the newbies a little. You really can't expect them to read the last months posts. I know I wouldn't.
