If Morrissey has as he says two albums worth of songs recorded then why are we only heaing five new songs, and one of those being a cover version, which doesn't count?

Also with the set list seldom changing are these the songs that Morrissey truly regards as his very best? Perhaps he could put in there "Lost" "Seasick..." I'd really like to know what he thinks of his back catalogue now.

Right that's put the cat amongst the pigeons.

I have to agree with you theres some classics that he has not played in years.

Last of The Famous
Intresting Drug
Fatty
Seasick
Glamourous Glue
Will Never Marry

And what about Ask or Hand In Glove as his opening Smiths track

I think he has put together a strong set list for the 2002 gigs BUT he could stuck some more real gems in as well.

I'm still waiting for "I Keep My Hidden"

I'm so grateful he played Maudlin St but I would like him to change the set a bit and ditch Everyday Is Like Sunday/Hairdresser On Fire/Alsation Cousin/Meat Is Murder & Speedway.
He could replace those songs with: We Hate It When ...../Will Never Marry/International Playboys/Nobody Loves Us/Trouble Loves Me and do two songs for the encore - There Is A Light( as he's been doing which is f***ing marvellous) and then Bigmouth Strikes Again. I'd errupt!

Do you think he would ever ditch meat is murder?
Not a chance, what was it he said at rah1 "Bacarach David would have just shit to have wrote that"?
It's his call to arms (non-meat) anthemn, innit. But yes a vegetarian, whoops I mean a variation would be nice & more new songs! Please.

I dunno, maybe those are the only ones they rehearsed? Or maybe he wants to
leave some surprises for the album?

There's been 5 non-cover new ones: Irish Blood, First of the Gang, I Like You,
Crashing Bores, Mexico.

Don't know why he wouldn't be playing "Lost"! He did "Seasick" back on the Arsenal tour. I don't know that you cn take his set lists as being what he thinks are his very best songs. Just the ones he feels like singing this tour.
"Seasick' is a slow song; he may not want too many of those in a night?
But I agree, he's got so many songs to choose from by now, he could have more set list changes. Do Morrissey and the band have trouble performing songs they haven't been rehearsing a lot?
