Morrissey Central "TIME" (May 28, 2024)

Thinking through who would have had access to the multi-track and jumping to a conclusion, I imagine.

Morrissey Central "TIME" (May 28, 2024)

I think it's arguable. But I also think what the f*** are you doing working with someone who many consider to be among the most important musicians of the 20th century if you're just going to dump his work? Might not be so bad if you don't then go on to use his name as a celebrity collaborator...

Morrissey Central "TIME" (May 28, 2024)

This is the video the strings were taken from, although I'm not sure this YouTube channel is the original source for it.

Morrissey Central "TIME" (May 28, 2024)

Someone should let Visconti know that it wasn't anyone to do with the studio that issued that remix. An ingenious fan used Morricone's original strings from an official "making of" video and laid them over the CD version.

What to do in Manchester as a Moz fan

There's a branch of Red Chilli chain restaurant on Portland Street. This is the old Crazy Face building, where The Smiths used to rehearse in 1983. The "Pablo Cuckoo" rehearsal recording and possibly some of the early demos that have been put on the internet were recorded there. It's also the...

    Morrissey Central "IRISH BL❤️❤️D" (January 18, 2024)

Not that I know what they actually are, but that's fake news. There may be students involved, but it's not a student organisation.

Dare I Google what kind of thing "Free Speech Ireland" is?

Is "Panic" secretly about Jimmy Saville? - James Hargreaves Guitar / YouTube

There's no possibility Panic is about Jimmy Savile. It's something originaly suggested by noted musicologist David Icke. Mind you, that probably does mean that Morrissey believes it.

    It’s not about politics

That doesn't stop it being the qanon thread.

    It’s not about politics

The qanon thread on morrissey-solo is on page 717. Is this surprising or not?

Live Nation: Bangkok & Hong Kong now cancelled (November 9, 2023)

How can they say "unforeseen" when it's a Morrissey show?

It's neither, it's just not knowing how to pronounce a word.

Except "annals of history" is not what he actually says.

Like Savile all over again. We all laughed at the cub scouts on the rollercoaster, but we didn't like all the raping, because we are hypocrites.

    Russell Brand

From what I hear, Russell Brand has enough problems. Reminding people that he's also friends with Morrissey is a bit uncalled for.

Question November Spawned A Monster: Has it aged well?

Musically, probably the most easily-dated thing Morrissey has ever released. People imo tend more of a view now than they then did that speaking on behalf/the subject of disabled people is best left to disabled people. So, that makes the lyric dated. Not that is anything other than a great...

Morrissey Central "YOU KNOW I COULDN’T LAST" (July 26, 2023)

Well, we can take it for granted he fully supported her conversion to Islam, and probably might have even sent her a card.

    Why was Morrissey never integrated?

I think it's definitely that they were all racist and into conspiracy theories, pictures of skinheads and so on, whereas Morrissey is very left wing and can't stand any of that stuff.
