^hawick is onyl reachable by bus (no train station) so there is a bus station..surely sheltered
then there are pubs..well i always forgot pubs in your areas closing much earlier i than here where i live
when again do pubs close over there?

Hi, well again I have never been to Hawick but I'm from a town in Scotland that's similar in size and whle there are plenty of bus stops/shelters there is no actual bus station of the sheltered variety that you would find in cities here. Never know though, there may be one.

I'm not sure entirely about pubs as it would generally depend on the pub and the week of the night in question. On a Tuesday night in Hawick I'd guess 12 at the latest...
