A fascinating documentary that looks back on the life of the Paskowitz family, a jewish doctor who packed up his family in a camper and surfed, following his instincts from beach to beach. He was meticulously healthy and sought to be in touch with the rhythms of the earth but his children, deprived of a proper education and grown today, recount their frustrations of being raised as nomads. It's really quite touching and awkward and amazing and educational. I just watched it. I was going to put this in the regular movie thread but it strikes me as one of those movies everyone should see.
