I love the original but this works too. :p

Maybe not favorite, but I just saw The good, the bad and the ugly at the cinema the other day .. reminded me how great that movie is. The final 3-way shoot out is amazing .. the tension that builds up to it, the music is incredible. The facial expressions of each character .. the scene right before it too is great where Tuco arrives are the cemetery and is frantically running around looking for the grave where the gold is burried, how the background becomes a blur and he's still quite visible in the foreground .. just brought to like how desperate he was to find the gold.

But one scene from the movie which i never noticed as being particularly stand outish before is the tortue scene of Tuco. He's being beaten for information inside a little hut in a POW camp. Outside a band of prisoners are told to play music to mask the sounds of the beating inside. Something about the song they played was so sad. Seeing Tuco who to that point was a bit of a comedy character in ways found himself in a really tough spot and you felt real empethy for him .. it's what seperated him as the ugly compared to Angel Eyes as the bad.

Jules: The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

You could devote a whole thread to great scenes from "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly".

Other brilliant scenes were Angel Eyes interrogating Stevens and then the following late-night visit to Baker. "I always see a job through". Or how about the men coming to kill Blondie in the hotel room-- incredible tension as he loads the gun. Amazing use of editing and sound effects.

Can anyone tell me how to embed a youtube clip onto a post?

Click on the hash symbol up there ^^^. Replace the CODE with YOUTUBE, keeping the brackets and symbol. Wrap these around the youtube clip code but only the part which comes after v=

Hope that makes sense.

I would like to post the end of Vanishing Point, but that would spoil it for anyone who haven't seen it.

Alfie: She's got a little ginger moustache. But I find I'm quite willing to overlook the odd blemish in a woman, providing she's got something to make up for it. Well, that's what we're all here for, innit - to help each other out in this life.

Haha, Dawn Of The Dead is the best movie ever, the remake sucks
Edit: Has anyone done a zombie thread?
