If he's more about the lyrics than the sound, don't get caught up on what sounds most like a rock song. Go for something with a more ironic/cynical edge like "The World Is Full Of Crashing Bores" or "I Have Forgiven Jesus" or "November Spawned A Monster". The lyrics have a nice combination of...
If you say so but I'm sure there are MySpace users who actually think that Morrissey looks at the page. Based on some of the comments posted there, am I wrong?
You forgot the time change going from Eastern time to Central time. So if it was a 4 hour drive to Merrillville, KY could have left at 9:30 EDT (she was done by 8:40) and arrived at Merrillville at 12:30 CDT.
What songs are Morrissey's personal favorites to perform? I know some songs get played just about every show (HSIN) but what are the ones he seems to most enjoy actually performing?
"should i wear my moz posse shirt"
Doesn't that scream newbie?
"new york dolls shirt"
Trying too hard?
"the smiths hatful of hollows shirt?"
Bad old memories that he wants to dispel?
Black is always in fashion.
I saw my first Morrissey show in 2004 and so I just assumed all Morrissey shows intro-ed with it. It's an instant association for me when I hear the music kick in over the vocals.
:)
The image of him jumping into a car as the encore ends is too funny. He's been leaving like a normal rock star by walking out to the bus. They have to wait for Julia to get to her rental car so she can follow them to the next show.
Re: What the real Morrissey fans can do to save the fake fans from destroying every s
I seriously doubt that security is going to be changed one bit because of what one person says to the venue unless that person's name is Morrissey. The acts work with the venue to coordinate security and...
Re: What the real Morrissey fans can do to save the fake fans from destroying every s
I'm not a veteran of Morrissey shows but I can say for certain that at the end of the Indy show, he was encouraging fans to get on stage. The ones who succeeded were promptly yanked off by security and I think...
The fan club tickets must have sold out. It's not listed on the TM site, just the radio pre-sale. That password doesn't work for those. Looks like you'll have to wait for the regular sale to start on Friday.
I had a box seat but tried for something better not realizing those were going to be the best seats other than those tables (did anyone actually by a set of 6?) Now it's just row X terrace seating.
I saw plenty of camera phones in Ann Arbor and Indianapolis. I think anything that size is pretty safe.
Although both venues said no photos, the only time I saw it enforced was in Indianapolis when one girl with a serious camera was taking shots late into the show. Normally, the pros get to...
That was after the show when a good size crowd was waiting outside the front entrance to catch a glimpse of him before he boarded the bus. He actually stopped and shook hands with people on both sides of the fences they had up to keep everyone back. Once he was on board, the bus was on its way.
We were behind the fence on the side that was closest to the bus. The light from the marquee totally washed out the photo I was trying to take of Morrissey. It was such a mad scramble of people reaching out to shake his hand I just pointed and clicked. I'm surprised I even managed to get him in...
